About Us
National Assessment Specialists (NAS), also known as Irwin Savodnik, M.D. & Medical Associates Inc., provides medical-legal psychiatric evaluations. Our support staff includes highly trained transcriptionists, proofreaders and researchers. Our psychiatrists are continuously updated with new medical and legal developments. Medical Director & Director of Education, Irwin Savodnik, M.D.
Our Medical Director, Irwin Savodnik, M.D., Ph.D. practiced psychiatry for 35 years, taught at UCLA, conducts his own research program and leads ongoing continuing education conferences for our associate doctors. His current project addressing malingering has made important inroads into this thorny problem.
Dr. Savodnik is no longer taking on new cases; he serves soley as Medical Director and Director of Education and Training.
The NAS staff is dedicated to working closely with you to provide the objective high-quality evaluations and reports you need. Each person who answers the phone is competent, friendly and knowledgeable.
