CAAA 2010 Summer Convention June 24 to 27

The Portola Hotel in scenic Monterey, California was the setting for this year's California Applicants' Attorneys Association's Summer Convention. The Portola Hotel located in downtown Monterey is just a short walk from Cannery Row, a street immortalized in novels by John Steinbeck, Tortilla Flat (1935), Cannery Row (1945) and Sweet Thursday (1954).

The CAAA summer convention served its attendees on many levels. Foremost, the many sessions conducted during the 8 hour days provided attorneys with required continuing education points as mandated by the American Bar Association. The convention also brought attorneys from both northern and southern California together to bond in this combined educational-professional-social setting.

Between sessions, attorneys perused the vendor hall speaking with exhibitors that were there to provide information on their relevant products and services. The range of exhibitor offerings went from medical-legal evaluation providers like Irwin Savodnik, M.D & Medical Associates, Inc. to web-based attorney business registries.


The CAAA Summer Convention was a success, allowing us to connect with familiar faces and meet new people.
