Webcast #501 Start Making SB899 Work for You
Webcast #502 Start Coming April/May 2005

Operating System and Web Browser Requirements
This system is powered by Microsoft Producer. The Webcast runs under Internet Explorer 5.0 or later, Netscape Navigator 7.0, or Internet Explorer 5.2.2 or later for the Mac. [NOTE: AOL, ATT/Worldnet and Verizon DSL are all based on Internet Explorer.] This Webcast is not currently compatible with Firefox (or Mozilla variants), Netscape, or Apple Safari.

In some older computers, you may need to download Windows Media 8 or later. If you do not have the most current versions, or the software, you will be prompted to download these. This is free and only takes a few minutes. You may "bookmark" (add to "favorites") this page to return later, if you wish.

If you are running WindowsXP with Service Pack 2 ("SP2") and Internet Explorer, Windows may ask you to "allow" this Webast application to run, by putting a yellow bar across the top of this window; you will need to click the bar to allow this application to work.

Getting Started:
(See system requirements, above.)

How can I watch an ISMED Webcast?

  1. First select the Webcast you want to view by choosing from the topic box, above.

  2. After you click the Webcast, it will open for you. The following screen will appear which shows it is "loading." Depending on the speed of your Internet connection, this may take a couple of minutes (DSL or Cable "Broadband" connection is highly recommended). With an unsupported Web browser, a message will announce that Internet Explorer is required.

  3. Once the pre-loading is complete, a "Play" text button will appear. To start the Webcast, simply click the 'Play' button to the left of the screen.

  4. The Webcast Main Screen will appear. This comprises a topic menu at left (or table of contents), the video window at upper left with stop, play and back/forward buttons (much like a tape or video recorder); and the slideshow on the right part of screen (see photo). In most cases, the selected Webcast will begin to play immediately.

If not, click the play button underneath the video viewing screen.

Getting around the Webcast
To restart or replay any of the Webcast, simply

  • Click on the "Stop" or "Pause" button on the video control panel (located directly under the video screen).

  • Then click the topic you want to view under the Table of Contents, located directly under the video button controls.

  • Then click the play button to view.
